Authors to Speak at Writing Conference
UC Irvine’s fourth annual Creative Writing Conference will be Oct. 3-5, featuring best-selling authors, agents, editors and publishers.
The weekend will begin with a reading and discussion featuring Whitney Otto, author of “How to Make an American Quilt,†on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m., and continue with seminars and discussion groups Oct. 4 and 5.
Preregistration in encouraged by Sept. 15. Fees are $225 for the entire conference, $165 for Oct. 4, $125 for Oct. 5 and $10 for individual readings.
