Scout Joins Titan Basketball Staff

FULLERTON — Ronnie Dean, who has worked the last two years for a national high school and community college scouting service, has joined Coach Bob Hawking’s men’s basketball staff at Cal State Fullerton.

Dean, 35, scouted primarily in the Midwest for the service headed by Rick Ball of Pensacola, Fla., after working five years as a community college coach.

Dean, who lives in St. Louis, was head coach for one year at Lamar (Colo.) College, and was an assistant for two years at Howard College in Big Spring, Tex., and Barton County College in Great Bend, Kan.
