Coach Octavio Zambrano indicated the problem might be above the shoulders, saying: “We’ve dropped a couple because of this mentality problem.”

Mutiny update--Tampa Bay will be down even more players than the Galaxy because of World Cup qualifying. Four players are elsewhere representing their countries--play-making midfielder Carlos Valderrama (Colombia), midfielder Martin Vasquez (United States), forward Roy Lassiter (United States) and defender Frank Yallop (Canada). Midfielder Gilmar suffered a left ankle strain Aug. 30 against New England and is considered questionable.
