CalComp Technology Inc.: The Anaheim supplier of computer graphics printers and other products said it lost $23.7 million, or 51 cents a share, for the third quarter, compared with a net loss of $10.7 million, or 24 cents a share, for the same quarter last year. Sales declined 28% to $47.3 million from $65.6 million. For the first nine months of 1997, the company reported a net loss of $40.6 million, or 86 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $32.7 million, or 78 cents a share, for the comparable three quarters last year. Sales were down 5% to $159.9 million from $168.4 million. CalComp said results were affected by the transition to new products.
