Ankle Sprain Trips Up Nets’ Van Horn
Associated Press
New Jersey Net forward Keith Van Horn, the No. 2 pick in the draft, will be sidelined three to four weeks because of a badly sprained right ankle. Net spokesman John Mertz said an MRI exam showed the former Utah star tore a tendon during the first quarter of Friday night’s exhibition game against Cleveland.
Cleveland Cavalier guard Bob Sura is listed as doubtful for the opener Friday, the team said. Sura injured his left ankle in the second quarter of Friday night’s exhibition game at New Jersey and is expected to be out seven to 10 days.
