Kofax Image Products Inc.: The Irvine supplier of document imaging application software and scanner enhancement products said net income for the first fiscal quarter rose 71% to a record $657,000, or 15 cents a share, from $384,000, or 9 cents a share, for the same quarter of 1996. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 increased 19% to $7.9 million from $6.6 million.
