Geary’s Sold to Rhode Island Firm
Geary’s, a Beverly Hills retailer best known for its upscale dinnerware and silver and crystal collectibles, was sold to the owners of Ross Simons, a Rhode Island-based operator of jewelry and gift stores. The purchase price was not disclosed. Bruce Meyer, president of Geary’s since 1976, will retain some management responsibilities and a minority stake in the company. The company will retain the name Geary’s of Beverly Hills.
