El Dorado 28, Glendora 21--El Dorado blocked two kicks in the second half Friday night to rally from a 14-point deficit at Citrus College.
Brandon Fisher scored on an eight-yard run with 47 seconds left to break a 21-21 tie. Quarterback Mitch Nord set up the touchdown when he connected with tight end Bryce Nebecker for a 21-yard gain to the Glendora eight-yard line.
The Golden Hawks tied the score when Mike Freeman returned a blocked punt 10 yards for a touchdown. Nord hit tight end Aaron Mills for a two-point conversion to tie the score, 21-21.
Glendora then drove to the El Dorado 10, but on fourth down, the Golden Hawks’ Aaron Campbell blocked a 27-yard field goal attempt by Matthew Alcala.
