Channel Islands National Bank will double its office space in the Dean Witter Tower in the Oxnard Financial Plaza, said Steven Walton, chief operating officer of Channel Islands Properties, the Plaza’s owner.
The bank has leased approximately 6,000 square feet next to its existing offices on the tower’s ground floor. The bank has been a tenant in the tower since 1987.
The new offices will house the bank’s corporate offices, which will move from the financial institution’s main office in downtown Oxnard, according to bank president Richard Spencer. The downtown office, at 155 S. A St., will remain open and offer full banking services, Spencer said.
