Goal Lights On, House Lights Off

For the first time in 19 games, the Kings took a lead into the second period after outscoring Vancouver, 2-1, for the first 20 minutes Tuesday night at the Forum.
Yanic Perreault’s 10th goal of the season and Mattias Norstrom’s first goal in more than a year gave the Kings their lead in a period interrupted by a power failure.
With 2:10 remaining, the Forum lights briefly went out and game officials sent the teams to their dressing rooms because the lights needed 10 minutes to return to full strength.
When the teams returned to the ice, they finished the first period and then played the second.
