Salad Art

It was a house-building project during her student days that led Holly Tornheim to the world of wood. She spent several years as a carpenter, then began building and carving doors. The carving led to furniture-making and now she’s whittled down the size of her creations to smaller, sculptural pieces, including bowls, platters and spoons.
