SRS Labs Inc.: The Santa Ana licenser of 3D audio technology said net income for the second quarter rose to $848,055, or 8 cents a share, from $289,629, or 4 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue increased 91% to $2.1 million from $1.1 million, as the company lined up several new customers. Net income for the six-month period more than doubled to $1.5 million, or 14 cents a share, from $507,248, or 7 cents a share, for the same period a year ago. Revenue climbed to $4.3 million from $2.1 million.
