2 Suspects in Motel Robbery Are Sought
Two men who robbed a Camarillo motel clerk at knifepoint early Monday morning are still at large, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
The men walked into the Comfort Inn, 984 W. Ventura Blvd., about 12:05 a.m., deputies said. One man, who deputies did not describe, threatened a clerk with a knife and demanded money. The men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, and were last seen running south toward Woods Road, deputies said. No vehicles were seen by witnesses, deputies said.
Anyone with information about the crime may call the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau at 654-2340, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or at 654-2311 after hours.
