Volunteers Beautify City With 112 Trees
Members of ReLeaf Costa Mesa and volunteers from Mormon churches in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach have planted 112 liquidambar, pines and magnolia trees in Lions Park and on 18th, Pomona, Center and Wallace streets.
More than 100 volunteers from the Costa Mesa First Ward and Newport Beach Second Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated as part of the church’s Worldwide Pioneer Heritage Service Day. --JOHN CANALIS
