Childish Insults Waste His Time
The kind of Democrat-bashing and liberal-bashing that Kenneth Khachigian (July 6) and Howard F. Ahmanson (July 4) do is, I think, very counterproductive.
The name-calling that Khachigian regularly does is simply childish, and distracts from whatever substantive message he may have (if any).
For Ahmanson to claim that “[m]odern liberals want big government and weak, dependent citizens” is totally contrary to the liberalism that I believe in.
Again, he is distracting from his message with this unsubstantiated and childish insult.
The older I get the more conservative I get, particularly on economic issues. But people like these two make it impossible for me to ever become a Republican.
If only we had better choices.
