I strongly disagree with Don Heckman’s assertion that John Coltrane’s influence can be heard in the “music” of Kenny G (“A Legacy Supreme,” July 13). Coltrane was an artist of the highest magnitude. The utter rubbish that emits from Kenny G isn’t fit to be heard in an elevator en route to purgatory.
