Each year, Eric Karros’ bat takes weeks to heat up. He’s paid big bucks to get big hits, so he might consider a few weeks of winter ball to get the batting eye ready and maybe then help the Dodgers win some of those “early games that must be won,” to quote Karros at the start of each season.
