Long Beach State 72, Lehigh 64--Andrew Betts had 21 points and 11 rebounds to help the 49ers win at Long Beach.
Jared Frey added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the 49ers (5-6).
Long Beach jumped out to a 17-2 lead, but the Engineers narrowed the gap to one point before halftime before the 49ers began pulling away again.
Lehigh (5-6) was led by Brett Eppehimer with 19 points. Peter Delea added 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Loyola Marymount 82, Southern Utah 72--Tim Kennedy made a pair of three-point baskets with five minutes remaining to break a tie at Loyola Marymount.
Kennedy, who had 13 points, broke a 67-67 tie with his two baskets from behind the stripe.
After that, the Lions (3-8) held Southern Utah (2-9) to two baskets in the final five minutes.
Loyola made seven of 10 free throws in the final 1:28 to seal the victory.
