2 Clubs Extend Hours for Week of Holiday
Two local organizations for children and teens are expanding their hours during the post-Christmas week.
The Boys and Girls Club will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and its usual sports and arts programs will be available for kids between the ages of 6 and 17. Participation is free to members and $10 for nonmembers. The club also will host a New Year’s Eve sleepover for $35. Information: (714) 494-9300.
The Laguna Club for Kids will offer a day camp for children between the ages of 5 and 12 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday. Derek St. John, the executive director, said there will be a field trip and holiday arts and crafts activities. Information: (714) 494-7630.
