* How can one man who is appointed to an office that is supposed to be a servant for the people be allowed to go against the will of the people? (“Chief Is Blunt, Unbending but Eager to Listen,” Nov. 27.)
To take away our 10 senior lead officers and replace them with five sergeants just doesn’t make sense.
Just because this new police chief doesn’t have his imprimatur on our Neighborhood Watch program doesn’t mean it isn’t working. Check your statistics, ask the citizens. Above all, keep Neighborhood Watch intact.
