Community Workshop to Focus on Proposed Village Center
Los Angeles Councilman Mike Feuer will host a community workshop Tuesday to discuss the proposed Village Center Westwood project.
The $100-million development in the northeast corner of Westwood Village would include retail stores, restaurants, movie theaters, a public library, parking and a 164-unit apartment building for senior citizens.
City staff, developer Ira Smedra and prospective tenants will attend the meeting, which will include a two-hour period for questions.
The workshop will be held 6 to 9 p.m. at the Westwood United Methodist Church, 10497 Wilshire Blvd.
