Woman, 18, Killed in Mission Viejo as Her Vehicle Flips
MISSION VIEJO — An 18-year-old woman died Friday after she was thrown from her sport-utility vehicle when she lost control and it flipped on Alicia Parkway, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
About 3:50 p.m., Jillian Christine Olson of Trabuco Canyon was headed west on Alicia Parkway at an excessive speed when she lost control of her vehicle near Augusta Road, the Sheriff’s Department reported.
The vehicle flipped several times and Olson was ejected, authorities said.
She was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where she was pronounced dead, authorities said.
