Fresh Donut Shop Robbed at Gunpoint

Authorities say an armed man robbed a doughnut shop in the 400 block of East Avenida De Los Arboles on Wednesday morning.
Phuc Lam, 26, of Simi Valley, had just opened the Fresh Donut shop about 4:20 a.m. when he was confronted by a Latino man with a handgun, sheriff’s officials said.
The man demanded cash, ordered Lam to the floor and ran out with an undisclosed sum. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as 5 feet 10, 200 pounds, 30 years old with black hair.
Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Tipsters may call 494-TALK and remain anonymous.
