Vigilante update--Mission Viejo ends its first season in Orange County with this series. The team is averaging announced crowds of 2,109, which is third best in the league. The Vigilantes struggled to play consistently and need a sweep of the four games to climb above .500 in the second half. This is the first time in three seasons the organization won’t be in the playoffs. Bret Barberie is hitting .333 to move into the league’s top 10.
