Kaynar Acquires Singapore Firm
ORANGE — Kaynar Technologies Inc., which makes specialty fasteners for the aircraft industry, said Monday that it has acquired Jazpac Engineering and Trading Pte Ltd (Singapore). Terms weren’t disclosed.
The new entity in Singapore, which will operate as part of Kaynar’s Recoil business unit and be known as Recoil Pte Ltd., will be used both as a strategic location for marketing throughout Asia and a regional hub for further distribution.
As part of the acquisition, the company formed a joint venture with Siamtri Ltd of Bangkok, Thailand, to be known as Recoil Limited (Thailand). It will be responsible for sales of Recoil products to Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand.
