Son Suspected in Attack at La Habra Hospital
LA HABRA — A man walked into the Friendly Hills Regional Medical Center on Saturday night and attacked his 70-year-old mother, who was in guarded condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The assault occurred about 7 p.m., when the hospital patient was assaulted by her son, Police Lt. Jerry Cline said.
“That’s all we know at this point,†he said. “There was no firearm, but we don’t know what weapon was used.â€
Officials declined to release the names of the mother and son.
