COMING THIS WEEK
Monday: The Cutting Edge looks at how Angela Marquardt, formerly the deputy chairwoman of the Party of Democratic Socialism, is testing Germany’s freedom of electronic speech. Marquardt is scheduled to stand trial for creating a link in her Web site home page that, authorities say, encourages visitors to engage in criminal behavior. Also, a survey reveals how countries around the globe are dealing with controlling the dissemination of certain types of information over the Net.
Tuesday: A special end-of-quarter Wall Street, California section will contain comprehensive stock tables and mutual fund listings, including one-year performance rankings, as part of an overall review of the year thus far in the financial markets. Times columnists will discuss trends in interest rates, leading market sectors and take a look at what might be next.
