Workshop Thursday on Welfare Reform
Supervisor Thomas W. Wilson will hold a community workshop this week on welfare reform and how it will affect residents of South County.
The session will include a panel discussion featuring Orange County Social Services Agency Director Larry Leaman, Saddleback College President Ned Doffoney, state employment officials and John Masamori, director of human relations for the Marriott Corp. Panelists will also field questions from the public.
The workshop will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 30121 Niguel Road in Laguna Niguel.
