Supervisor to Open 2 Satellite Offices

Ventura County Supervisor Kathy Long is opening satellite offices in Camarillo and Santa Paula this month.
Long, elected in November to serve the county’s sprawling 3rd District, said the new offices will enable her to have more contact with residents.
“Throughout the campaign I pledged to make myself available to the public, and this is one more avenue from which I can do that,” she said in a statement.
The Camarillo office, at the Camarillo Health Care District at 3639 E. Las Posas Road, will open June 16. The Santa Paula site will begin operating June 18 at the Ventura County Public Health Building at 620 Harvard Blvd.
Long will visit the Camarillo office from 3 to 5 p.m. on the third Monday of every month and the Santa Paula office from 3 to 5 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month.
According to Long’s office, the supervisor hopes to open satellite offices in Ojai and Newbury Park soon.
