School Official Wins Countywide Award

Santiago High School Principal Don Wise has been chosen 1997’s Secondary Principal of the Year for Orange County, high school category, by the Assn. of California School Administrators.
Wise was selected for the award by a special committee for his “support for the school management team, exceptional leadership in managing school programs, commitment to educational quality and student achievements, commitment to professional growth, and creativity and innovation in dealing with issues and challenges facing public education.”
Earlier this year, Wise was awarded the association’s statewide Diversity Award.
