The Southern Section team playoffs continue today at 3:15 with nine county teams involved in second-round matches. Because of the section’s controversial regionalized playoff format, three of the matchups will pit ranked county teams against each other: eighth-ranked Los Alamitos (18-1) at top-ranked Woodbridge (21-0) and second-ranked Dana Hills (18-2) at seventh-ranked Aliso Niguel (17-2) in Division I, and fourth-ranked El Dorado (21-0) vs. Santa Margarita (18-3) in a Division II match at Coto Valley Country Club.
The Southern Section individuals begin Saturday at Edison High and University of Redlands at 9 a.m.
