Students’ Science Projects Will Be on Display at Mall

The public is invited to view the work of young scientists from the Capistrano Unified School District on Saturday during Science Fest 1997 at the Mission Viejo Mall.
About 200 science projects, experiments and inventions showcasing the talents of students from 28 elementary schools will be on display throughout the mall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fourth annual event is free and will also feature hands-on science activities and exhibits by local businesses and organizations, including the Orange County Marine Institute, Friends of the Sea Lion and the South Coast Geological Society. There also will be three science-oriented assemblies and an afternoon special awards presentation for Science Fest participants.
