Orange Lutheran’s Werhas Going to UCI

Cassie Werhas of Orange Lutheran said she has orally committed to play volleyball with UC Irvine.

Werhas, a setter/outside hitter, was a two-time first-team All-Olympic League pick as a sophomore and junior. She spent the fall in Australia as an exchange student last fall and did not play volleyball.

Maura Logan of Foothill has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Radford, said her club coach, Charlie Brande.

Logan, a middle blocker, was a two-time All-Century League pick. She also plays for the Orange County Volleyball club.

She will join El Modena middle blocker Meghan Coolbaugh, who announced two weeks ago she would attend the small college in Virginia.
