Dream Deal for Cherry Lane

DreamWorks/SKG Music has entered into a worldwide agreement with Cherry Lane Music Publishing, designating the independent Westchester County, N.Y.-based firm its exclusive publishing administrator for all DreamWorks’ compositions into the next century. DreamWorks, which was courted by the publishing arms of the industry’s six major record conglomerates, also acquired a half-interest in Cherry Hill’s 3,500 copyrights as part of the deal.
