BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Ten Southern Section boys’ titles will be decided in the county this weekend and four local teams are involved.

Calvary Chapel (25-4) plays defending Division IV-A champion Santa Monica Crossroads (26-3) at the Bren Center at 6:15 p.m. Friday, one of four finals at UC Irvine. There will be six games at the Pond Saturday, including the Division II-AA final between Woodbridge (26-3) and Villa Park (24-4) at 2:45 p.m. Mater Dei takes its 19-game winning streak into its 8:30 p.m. Division I-A semifinal against unseeded Etiwanda (24-5).
