School Minibus Flattens Car, Killing 1, Injuring 9

NEW YORK — A school minibus overturned on a wet, slippery road Thursday and landed on an oncoming car, killing the bus driver and injuring nine adults and teen-agers.
The roof of the car was flattened and the left side of the bus was crushed in the morning rush-hour accident.
The bus was taking six boys to the Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy, a boys’ high school, and the car was carrying four people.
Nine people were taken to hospitals. Injuries included broken bones and head, chest and neck wounds.
