The Golden State Warriors said point guard B.J. Armstrong will be sidelined three to four weeks because of torn cartilage in his left knee.
Armstrong, who has averaged 7.9 points and 2.6 assists this season, had played in 577 consecutive games before sitting out Wednesday night’s game against Boston.
It was the third-longest streak among active players, trailing Dallas’ A.C. Green with 863 and Philadelphia’s Michael Cage with 626.
