City’s Annual 10K-5K Event Is Saturday

The city’s 17th annual 10K-5K run and 5K walk to benefit local schools and community youth programs will be Saturday.
Same-day registration begins at 6 a.m. in the parking lot of the Community Center, 10911 Oak St. Entry fee is $20. Races begin at 8 a.m. During the event, street vendors will have booths set up at the center.
The event is co-sponsored by Los Alamitos Unified School District, Los Alamitos Youth Center and the unincorporated community of Rossmoor.
