Marsalis’ Opera to Be Available on Internet

Saturday’s performance of “Blood on the Fields,” Wynton Marsalis’ jazz opera, will be broadcast live worldwide on the Internet.
The performance, which features Marsalis on trumpet along with vocals by Miles Griffith, Jon Hendricks and Cassandra Wilson, will be available at https://www.audionet.com/concerts/marsalis for two months following the initial broadcast. Saturday’s performance will originate from the Fox Theater in Atlanta.
