THE HOST
The Academy Awards ceremony unfolds in all its splendor on March 24 at the Shrine Auditorium, with the telecast starting at 6 p.m. on ABC. After taking three years off and giving pal Whoopi Goldberg and David Letterman the chance to fill in, Billy Crystal returns as emcee.
