Gonzaga 77, Loyola Marymount 75--Bakari Hendrix hit a four-foot jump shot with 1.2 seconds to play to lift the Bulldogs (12-8, 5-3) at Loyola Marymount.
The Lions (6-14, 3-5) had tied the game, 75-75, on Kenny Hotopp’s tip-in with 40 seconds to play.
San Diego 76, St. Mary’s 71--Sean Flannery scored 28 points and Lamont Smith made four free throws in the final 21 seconds for the Toreros (11-9, 3-5) in a victory at home.
St. Mary’s (14-7, 4-4) was led by David Sivulich, who had 26 points.
San Francisco 72, Santa Clara 64--Hakeem Ward and M.J. Nodilo shook off second-half foul trouble to combine for 37 points, and the Dons (10-10, 5-3) ended a 12-game home losing streak to Santa Clara (11-9, 5-3).
BIG WEST
Idaho 57, UC Irvine 40--Jason Jackman scored nine of his game-high 17 points during five-minute stretch in the second half to lead the Vandals to victory at Moscow, Idaho.
The 40 points was the lowest total for Irvine (1-16, 1-7) since Feb. 11, 1985, when the Anteaters lost to Fresno State, 52-40. It was the fifth time this season Irvine has scored fewer than 50 points.
The Vandals (10-11, 3-5) led, 24-20, at halftime, and scored the first seven points of the second half.
Brian Johnson scored 14 points to lead Irvine.
