School Not Worth Family Breakups

I read with disbelief your Jan. 26 article about the extreme measures undertaken by families to keep their children at Buena High School.
How can it possibly be beneficial for an entire family to uproot and move across town, separate into two single-parent households or have a child move in with a legal guardian simply to spare one member of that family the “trauma” of having to move from Buena to Ventura High?
Get a grip, folks.
