King Assassin Ray Returns to Prison

James Earl Ray, convicted assassin of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was returned to a prison infirmary after his third hospitalization for liver problems in the past five weeks, authorities said. Ray, 68, was in fair condition. Authorities did not say if he would be returned to his cell.
