Use Venus to find Mercury tomorrow morning...

Use Venus to find Mercury tomorrow morning about 6:15. Mercury is only 4 degrees (the width of two fingers held at arm’s length)to the left of Venus. They are very bright near the horizon. Venus is brilliant, but Mercury is only 1/100th as bright. You will need binoculars to see Mercury.

With a telescope, Venus will appear nearly full because it is on the far side of the sun, but Mercury is on the near side and will appear as a crescent.
