In a battle of nationally ranked teams, Bradley scored a career-high 31 points in an 80-71 victory over No. 18 St. John’s at Prospect Hall (Frederick, Md.) in the third-place game of the Pickerington (Ohio) tournament. Bradley (eight rebounds, three steals) scored 22 as Brea (No. 5 nationally) also beat California’s sixth-ranked team, Berkeley, 65-56, for the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions title.
Basketball

* Marina, Sophomore. Averaged 14 points in victories over Newport Harbor and Pacifica, and was outstanding on defense against fifth-ranked Ocean View to help lead Marina to the semifinals.
Soccer
Megan Pickering
* Brea Olinda, Sophomore. Goalkeeper blocked two penalty kicks to help the Ladycats win the consolation championship. She had four saves in regulation to record her fifth shutout of the season.
Water Polo
Anais Cunha
* El Modena, Senior. Cunha, a two-meter player who leads her team with 18 goals, had four goals in El Modena’s victory over Loara.
