Thinking Clean
* Re “A Modest Renaissance for Reseda,” Dec. 1.
Three cheers and many more accolades to the ladies bringing, through hard work as volunteers, some color and charm to Reseda Boulevard and Sherman Way.
My question: What were the area merchants doing while this transformation was in progress? Sitting on their hands, of course!
There is no such thing as a “crappy part of town.” Only the people make it so. Why can’t each merchant sweep the sidewalk, pick up street and curbside trash and keep windows washed?
Has self-pride flown out the window? This pertains to all people. All neighborhoods could think clean.
