Most businesses have given up trying to claim frequent-flier miles from their employees, a survey by Rochester, Wisc.-based Runzheimer International has found. Only 10% now view the bonuses as the company’s property rather than the employee’s, down from 12% last year and a hefty 38% in 1984. . . . Aeromexico has relocated its check-in counters at LAX to Terminal 5 from the Tom Bradley International Terminal. . . . Americans will log about 5% more trips this winter than last, according to the Travel Industry Assn. of America and the AAA. The forecast is based on a phone survey of 1,500 adults.
