Delicate, unearthly guitar work weaves a dreamlike ambience that’s flexible enough to encompass both Booker T. & the MGs’ classic “Soul Dressing†and Local H’s droning, grunge-pop version of Guided by Voices’ “Smothered in Hugs†without losing the mood.
