Maroutsos, one of four Santa Margarita players with three years of varsity experience, was a steadying influence during the Eagles’ Division II-A final against Westlake Village Westlake. Her been-there-before attitude helped the Eagles stay calm after losing the first two games and her team-high 25 kills led them to the five-game victory.

* Laguna Beach, senior. Had team-high 14 kills in a five-game victory over top-seeded Manhattan Beach Mira Costa in Division I-AA final.
