PARTICIPATION SPORTS

* RUNNING: The John Wayne Cancer Institute’s Terry Fox Run will be held at the West Los Angeles Veterans Center. The event includes a 10K, a 5K run/walk and a children’s fun run. Prizes include weekend vacations, medals and trophies. Registration is $20 for adults and $15 for youths 12 and under and adults over 60, and includes a T-shirt, a gift bag and refreshments.
